Coverdale Farm Preserve

Coverdale Farm Preserve, the 356-acre holding of the Delaware Nature Society, is intended to be a model diversified regenerative organic farm, demonstrating profitable, high quality and transparent food production, food education, and food enjoyment. It will be a neighborhood resource and amenity for farm education and gathering. Coverdale will provide meaningful visitor experiences in a working living laboratory that proves that farming and nature can and should coexist and thrive together.

Ground Plan Studio created the Farm Business Plan and is guiding the project through construction and staffing.

Philo Ridge Farm is a premier destination demonstrating the best of regenerative agriculture techniques and products for sale at the farm market. Seasonal celebrations and events gather friends and neighbors to enjoy the bounty of the land.

Rancho Soquel

Model farm for small-scale production

Rancho Soquel is a developing prototype for small-scale sustainable production, leveraging a favorable microclimate and a dynamic market. It is a test site for the new "Tend" ag software platform, and utilizes high-tech techniques and task management for efficient production.

Trent Preserve

Ecologically significant visitor experience

Trent Preserve is a unique and special landscape in eastern North Carolina, with a future use as a children's education center. Demonstrating the importance of "biophilia" in conserved and restored native forest, meadow, wetland and riverbank landscapes, Trent Preserve will also begin development of light impact agroforestry and other forms of perennial agriculture.
